The dish that i had chosen to make for the gourmet breakfast prac was Loukoumades ( Greeks doughnuts) with nutella and icing sugar. Loukoumades are abstracted circle which and mad from basic anyy milk and flour, they are soft yet crunchy with a flossy centre to it. In the processes of finding my dish we were asked to find and query 10 different gourmet breakfasts. The 10 researched breakfasts were useful for close to people they had used them to find their own breakfast. Loukoumades come from the Greek culture that is why i love them so much.
At the start of the prac i walked in thinking i knew what to do, got all my ingredients ready all set to go, But to my horror everything starting line turning upside down.
I had never made Loukoumades ahead the prac would have been my first time. As i was making the garland for the Loukoumades i had put on the oil to pre heat, as i placed my Loukoumades in the oil the burnt straight away(p) i had over heated the oil. I didnt wish to serve up burnt food so i decide to make and other batch the second strive at them were much better. At the end of the day I had a dish to serve up and i was cheerful about it.
At the end of the prac came the cleaning there was so much to clean and not much time at all we had the wash and change all our dishes and equipment that were used in the processes of making things.
