Jane Eyre is a coming of age novel about a young girl who is born into poverty without any family, however, she possesses a set of principle she lives by which lead her down a path of knowledge and wealth to achieve a roaring future. She seeks both knowledge and wealth independently, surpassing fear and discouragement, to bring herself in a higher class. Despite the adversities she faces as a female orphan living in poverty in a male dominated society, Jane Eyre is still able to argue power as she exemplifies her self-respect and independence when exercising the morals and principles she believes to be true and stands by unconditionally.
Jane spends most of the novel on a call for for indistinguishability. Her goal in her quest for identity is to establish herself as an empowered person in society, a member of a high class who is employed and educated. Her quest results in enduring many struggles, for example, trying to survive as a young homeless girl who eventually spends her complete childhood and adolescents being abused. However, against all of these setbacks, Jane can be determine as a heroine.
