Paragragh 2. Mood & Tone
A. At firstly it seems at though the woman is sort of in a gaze while viewing outside at the scenery. She is describing the air and the view in and outside the bar. She whence goes to say the hills look equivalent innocence elephants. This later seems to describe the baby inner of her that is growing and may represent vitality. But to the mans perspective this white elephant is useless and will condradict their lifestyle. During thier conversation about the white elephants the man acts as though hes never seen one but then condradicts himself and says I might have. From here tension starts to descriptor up with a little of combativeness.
B.
Immediatley after the woman jig starts to lighten up the mood by suggesting another drink, Anis del Toro. Which to me represents excitment that man offers to her but it no longer impresses her. When tasting it she says it taste exchangeable licorice. The man says thats the way with everything. She instates now that everything taste like liquorice. Which to me I think at this point she means you croupe try new things all the time but it ends up still being the same, interms of the sightseeing and drinking. This provokes the man a little.
